Terms of Service

1. Who we are and what the service is

TF2Syntax (the «Service») is an automated Team Fortress 2 trading platform that gives the User access to a trading Bot, automated trading algorithms, analytics and trade-management tools under a paid Subscription. It operates under the AVX GROUP brand (the «Administration», «we»).

The Service gives you access to software that trades Team Fortress 2 items on your behalf on backpack.tf and Steam: it keeps buy orders, accepts and sends trade offers, and lists purchased items for sale.

The Service is a tool that executes your rules. It is not an investment service, not a broker, and not a manager of your funds. We give no investment advice and promise no returns.

2. Key terms

Capitalised terms used in these Terms have the meanings given in this section, regardless of number or grammatical form.

«Administration» — AVX GROUP, the party providing access to the Service and the owner of the Bot accounts. «User» — a natural person with legal capacity who has accepted these Terms. «Service» — the TF2Syntax software complex, including the website, the Panel and the trading software.

«Panel» — the restricted area of the website available to the User after authentication, intended for managing the Bot and obtaining reports.

«Bot» — a separate Steam account running the Service software, made available to the User for the term of the Subscription. The Bot account belongs to the Administration and is not transferred to the User.

«Items» — virtual objects of the game Team Fortress 2 recorded in the Steam inventory. Items are not property or a means of payment, have no face value, and circulate solely within the Steam platform on the terms set by Valve Corporation.

«Key» (Mann Co. Supply Crate Key) and «Metal» (refined metal, abbreviated ref) — Items used by the player community as units of account. The ratio between a Key and Metal is set by the market; it is neither established nor guaranteed by the Administration.

«Trade Offer» — a proposal to exchange Items created through the Steam platform and requiring confirmation by both parties. An exchange is deemed completed once confirmed by the Steam platform and is irreversible thereafter. The Administration does not operate the exchange and cannot cancel it.

«backpack.tf» — an independent third-party listing platform for buying and selling Items, used by the Service as a source of market data and as a place to publish listings. The Administration does not control its rules, operation or availability.

«Capital» — the Items, Keys and Metal transferred by the User to the Bot for trading purposes and reflected in the Panel.

«Deposit» — the transfer of Capital by the User to the Bot by means of a Trade Offer. «Withdrawal» — the transfer of Capital back to the User's Steam account.

«Subscription» — a paid period of access to the Service. «USDT» (Tether) — a digital asset pegged by its issuer to the US dollar and accepted by the Administration in payment for a Subscription through a payment provider. The Administration is not the issuer of USDT, does not control its rate and does not provide digital-asset exchange services.

3. Your account

You sign in through Steam, Google or Discord. The Service never asks for and never stores the password to your game account.

You are responsible for keeping access to your account and linked accounts secure. Actions taken from your account are treated as taken by you.

We recommend enabling two-factor authentication in settings — it is available to every user.

One person means one account. Creating extra accounts to bypass limits or pricing is not allowed.

The Service is intended for people old enough to enter into transactions on their own under the laws of their country. If you are under 18, use the Service only with the consent of a parent or guardian.

4. Subscription and payment

Basic — 6 USDT or 3 Team Fortress 2 keys per 30 days. Premium — 10 USDT or 5 Team Fortress 2 keys per 30 days; Premium adds premium features on top of Basic.

Payment is accepted in cryptocurrency (USDT) or as a trade offer of keys to the payment bot. Access is enabled automatically once the payment is confirmed.

Subscriptions are non-refundable. A subscription is access to software, and it is considered delivered from the moment access is enabled. One exception: if the Service failed to provide access at all through our own fault, we will refund the payment or extend the period — your choice.

Payment provider and blockchain network fees are paid by the sender. If such fees leave us with less than the plan price, the payment is treated as incomplete.

Prices may change. A change does not affect an already paid period.

5. Your capital: deposit, trading, withdrawal

Items and other assets transferred by the User for trading are recorded against the User's account within the TF2Syntax system and are intended for the User's trading and subsequent Withdrawal. Transferring Items to the Bot does not transfer them into the ownership of the Administration.

Technically, the transferred Items sit on the Steam account of the trading Bot controlled by the Administration: without this the Bot cannot trade. The Administration does not dispose of the Capital outside the trading operations the Bot performs under the rules set by the User. The User may initiate a Withdrawal at any time while the Subscription is active.

At any moment part of your Capital may not be liquid but held in purchased items listed for sale. Such Capital can be withdrawn as items; turning items into keys and metal instantly at a desired price is not possible — that depends on the market.

End of subscription. When the subscription ends, trading stops and you have 24 hours to withdraw your Capital. We warn you in advance — 3 days and 1 day before.

If the Capital is not withdrawn within those 24 (twenty-four) hours, the remaining Items and currency are transferred to an Administration service account, and the Bot returns to the shared pool and is provided to another User. The transferred remainder is non-refundable. Withdrawing the Capital before that deadline is the User's obligation; the Administration notifies the User of the Subscription's expiry in advance and bears no liability for a missed deadline.

After the Subscription expires, the Service does not perform trading operations with the Capital unless expressly provided by the Service terms.

We do not hold your Capital as security for payment and do not apply it to a subscription without your consent.

6. Risks and absence of guarantees

This is the most important section. Please read all of it.

The User understands and accepts that automated trading does not guarantee any profit. Trading results may differ materially from historical, calculated or demonstration figures, including any figures shown on the Service website.

There may be situations in which a purchased Item does not sell for a long time, sells at a loss, or has to be sold below the expected price.

The choice of trading strategy is made by the User independently. The Administration does not guarantee that any particular strategy will match the User's financial goals or expectations. The User independently determines the level of trading risk acceptable to them.

Profit is not guaranteed. Item trading carries risk. You may earn, and you may lose part of your Capital. No results from past periods shown in the panel, on the site or in the news are a promise of future results.

Team Fortress 2 item prices are set by the market. They change, sometimes sharply, because of game updates, large players' actions and key price movements. The Service does not influence those prices.

A purchased item may take a long time to sell, or sell below its purchase price. The bot's settings (profit margin, risk limits, holding periods) are yours, and so are their consequences.

The Service depends on external systems — Steam, backpack.tf, payment providers. Their outages, limits and rule changes can halt trading for an indefinite time. We do not control them.

Steam may apply restrictions to accounts, including trade restrictions, independently of us and without explanation. We cannot prevent that.

Software can contain bugs. We fix them, but we do not guarantee error-free or uninterrupted operation.

7. Relationship to Valve, Steam and backpack.tf

The Service is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Valve Corporation. Steam, Team Fortress 2 and related marks are trademarks of Valve Corporation.

The Service is not affiliated with backpack.tf and is not its official client. We use its public interfaces on general terms.

While using the Service you must also comply with the rules of Steam and backpack.tf. Breaking them is your responsibility.

8. What is not allowed

Using the Service for money laundering, legalising stolen property, fraud, or any other unlawful purpose.

Sending the bot items obtained by deception, hacking or otherwise unlawfully. Where there are reasonable grounds for suspicion, we may suspend operations and disclose information on a lawful request.

Attempting to access other people's accounts and data, interfering with the Service, creating excessive load, or circumventing plan limits and technical protections.

Reselling access to the Service or transferring it to third parties without our consent.

Presenting the Service as your own product or claiming a partnership with us where none exists.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, on reasonable suspicion of unlawful activity, or at the demand of Steam, payment providers or competent authorities.

If access is terminated for a breach, the paid period is not refunded. Your Capital still remains yours: we will make sure you can withdraw it.

You may stop using the Service at any time by withdrawing your Capital and not renewing the subscription.

10. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided «as is». To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for lost profit, for returns not received, for market price movements, or for losses caused by failures of Steam, backpack.tf, payment providers and communication networks.

We are responsible for the safekeeping of Capital entrusted to us to the standard of a diligent custodian: we do not dispose of it outside your trading rules and we keep withdrawal available.

Nothing in this section limits liability where such limitation is expressly prohibited by the law applicable to you.

11. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. The current version is always available at this address, with the date of the last change shown at the top.

We announce material changes in the Service news section and, where linked, in notifications. By continuing to use the Service after changes take effect, you accept the new version.

We aim to reply within a reasonable time. For anything involving your Capital, contact us as early as possible — before the subscription expires.
